Mrs. Hrabsky's Homework Assignments

Classroom Curriculum

Students in 6th grade will experience a true middle school setting. Each student is assigned hallway lockers and a homeroom. A typical day will consist of three morning classes, then lunch, followed by three afternoon classes. Students are given the opportunity to take an on-level or advanced math class. Evaluations will be made yearly to allow for adjustment to math levels. Student will take English as well as Literature classes. Science class will often consist of lab work. In History, students work together to create projects related to Ancient Civilizations. Spanish is offered as our foreign language with the option of high school credit being earned in the 8th grade. While students do take a Religion class it is also the foundation of our curriculum. Weekly encore classes consist of Physical Education, Art, Library, and Health.
