The EDGE

The Mason Center for Team and Organizational Learning

St. Francis Middle School participates in the programs offered at the EDGE at the new Mason Center for Team and Organizational Learning, which replaces and expands upon almost a quarter century of experience of leadership and team-building programming that Mason previously operated at the Hemlock Overlook Center for Experiential Education.

The hands-on experiential learning programs and workshops offered are thought provoking yet fun team development activities. Learning takes place using a wide assortment of experiential activities and simulations including traditional low and high challenge course elements and the signature structure: The Alpine Tower and Total Team Challenge. The goal of the program is the following:

  • Energize your team with active and engaging programs
  • Develop skills for effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving
  • Grow individual and group leadership functions through practical experience
  • Excel at identifying and capitalizing on your strengths for profound transformation
